Our garden cottage is a lovely cottage of 40 m2 + an attic of 9m2 for extra sleeping space that you can rent through airbnb. The cottage is located in a residential neighbourhood in Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland.
The cottage has a wood heated sauna, a traditional stove and a small kitchen with basic utensils. The main room has a high ceiling, which creates a bright, spacious and calm atmosphere.
The cottage accommodates maximum four adults. We think our accommodation suits best for a couple or 3 adults, or families with two adults and maximum 3 children.
The cottage is located in a park like residential neighbourhood. The cottage is close to the city centre of Rovaniemi but the area around the cottage is park like. Squirrels and many kinds of birds visit our garden daily, and it is likely to witness hares in the evening. If you are really lucky you might even see a fox, vole or a woodpecker. Sometimes even a group of reindeer’s walk through our street.
If northern lights are strong and there is a clear sky, you might see northern lights from our garden in wintertime. About 25 minutes walking from the cottage is a good place to see the northern lights.
Garden cottage 29 has a private parking space with an electricity connection available. The cottage is located 2 kilometres from the city centre of Rovaniemi.
There are various supermarkets 700 meters from the accommodation.

There is a spacious car parking 8 meters from the accommodation.
The accommodation is accessible via a gently sloping ramp. The length of the ramp is 6 meters, and it’s elevation is 40 centimeters. The elevation of the ramp is +- 7 centimeters per meter. The ramp is 130 centimeters wide.
The narrowest door width is 88 centimeter wide.
The main room is quite spacious, 27 m2. The table can be moved.
We attach handlebars to the toilet upon request.
There is 1 meter space on both sides of the beds. The beds can be moved.
There are ample electricity sockets in the accommodation.
Guide dogs are very welcome 🙂
